Entel Bolivia

Entel Bolivia, also known as Empresa Nacional de Telecomunicaciones, is a state-owned company headquartered in Bolivia. Founded in 1965, the company operates as a tier 1 media tech buyer, with approximately 770 employees, and reported $687.0M in revenue as of 2024. It primarily functions as the national telecommunications utility and digital infrastructure operator of Bolivia. The company underwent privatization in 1995, when a controlling 50% stake was acquired by Euro Telecom International (a subsidiary of Telecom Italia). However, on May 1, 2008, a supreme decree nationalized the company, transferring majority equity back to the Bolivian State under the Ministry of Public Works, Services, and Housing. Entel Bolivia is the market leader in Bolivian telecommunications, commanding the country's largest customer share across mobile, fixed-line, broadband, and pay-TV services.
