News Summary:

On September 11, 2026, Inter and AC Milan submitted an economic feasibility report for a new San Siro stadium to Milan’s Council, projecting €418 million in annual revenue once the €2.149 billion venue and its surrounding real estate are operational. The stadium is planned for completion in 2032. Previously, on September 10, Inter Milan's owner Oaktree Capital Management indicated its intention to replicate Chelsea owner BlueCo’s multi-club model by acquiring a sister club for Inter Milan. Oaktree reportedly allocated a budget of €25 million to €40 million to purchase a team from the top divisions in Belgium or Portugal, or the second tier in Spain. The American investment fund is seeking a reasonably valued top-division club abroad to serve as a strategic talent incubator and a stepping stone for young Nerazzurri prospects, providing an additional development phase for talents after the youth sector and Under-23s, and before the first team.
