On April 24, the Vodafone Fijiana XVs faced Manu Sina in the Oceania Women’s Championship, with Head Coach Mike Legge expecting a different challenge following a dominant opening performance. Previously, on April 23, the Fiji Rugby Union announced the appointment of legendary former captain Jerry Tuwai as the new Assistant Coach for the Fiji Airways Fijian 7s team, a role advertised in early January. Also on April 23, a Fiji Rugby Union delegation, including CEO Koli Sewabu and Chairman John Sanday, visited former national representative Tom Mitchell at his residence to acknowledge his contributions to the Flying Fijians during the 1980s.
