This followed its February 1 announcement of a strategic partnership with AIA Sports to equip Fiji’s national teams with data-driven performance analysis and implement a centralized digital management platform to optimize player development, coaching strategy, and organizational excellence. Earlier, on January 21, the FRU appointed global sports specialist Red Tiger Marketing to support its commercial strategy and partnership development, coming at a pivotal moment as the Flying Fijians confirmed as a Tier One nation are set to compete in the Nations Championship from 2026. On the same day, FRU Chief Executive Officer Koli Sewabu and senior management concluded a strategic engagement visit to the Northern Division, forming a critical part of the Union’s nationwide compliance and governance program.
