Finetwork is a Privately Owned company headquartered in Spain. Founded in 2015, the company employs approximately 300 individuals and functions as a tier 1 media tech buyer. It specializes in media and TV services, operating as a triple-play service provider offering internet, TV, and voice services.
Spain's communications and markets regulator CNMC authorized Vodafone Spain (Zegona) on November 6, 2025, to acquire MVNO Finetwork by capitalizing the latter's outstanding debts. This regulatory decision followed Finetwork initiating a pre-bankruptcy proceeding in Alicante in May regarding outstanding payments owed to Vodafone, its long-time fibre and mobile network provider. Previously, in early July, Spanish infrastructure fund Asterion reached an agreement in principle to acquire Finetwork, then Spain’s sixth-largest operator with an estimated one million customers. Reports from July 3 and July 4 indicated the deal was valued around €300 million to over €310 million, comprising an equity investment of approximately €200-210 million and about €100 million in assumed debt, which included around €70 million owed by Finetwork to Vodafone Spain.
