Futuroscope, also known as Parc du Futuroscope and formerly as Planète Futuroscope, is a privately owned entity headquartered in France. Founded in 1987, the park employs approximately 700 individuals. It operates as a theme park centered on multimedia, cinematographic, and audiovisual techniques. The park features multiple 3D cinemas and several 4D cinemas, alongside various attractions and shows, some of which are unique globally. It is situated in the department of Vienne, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, approximately 10 kilometers north of Poitiers, specifically within the communes of Chasseneuil-du-Poitou and Jaunay-Clan.
