GDH

GDH, also known as GDH 559, is a privately owned company headquartered in Thailand. Established in January 2016 as a fully integrated film production studio and entertainment company, it operates as a subsidiary of the Thai media conglomerate GMM Grammy, which holds a majority 51% stake, in a joint venture with Hub Ho Hin Bangkok. With approximately 100 employees, the company specializes in entertainment content rights. GDH was formed as the direct successor to GMM Tai Hub (GTH), inheriting creative personnel, directors, and intellectual property libraries. Its name, "Gross Domestic Happiness," reflects an organizational philosophy prioritizing audience satisfaction and creative well-being over box office metrics, while "559" signifies its official founding date (January 5, 2559 B.E.) and its 59 founding creative shareholders. The company produces and distributes content across multiple genres, including titles such as Bad Genius and How to Make Millions Before Grandma Dies.
