Georgia Bulldogs

Georgia Bulldogs, a privately owned entity headquartered in the United States, founded in 1892, functions as a tier 1 media tech buyer focused on sports tickets, merchandise, and sponsorship. The organization represents the intercollegiate athletic teams of the University of Georgia, competing in NCAA Division I as members of the Southeastern Conference (SEC). Its identity is characterized by its official English Bulldog mascot, Uga, and the costumed character Hairy Dawg. While most athletic teams are known as the Bulldogs, specific exceptions include the women's basketball team, referred to as the "Lady Bulldogs," and the women's gymnastics team, known as the "GymDogs." The teams are also colloquially referred to as "The Dawgs."
