Oxfordshire cricket club receives funding for season's worth of balls

Bicester and North Oxford Cricket Club applied to the £100,000 Gigaclear Rural Sports Club Fund, which aims to support rural teams across the broadband company's full fibre network, which spans 26 counties. As well as the season's worth of balls, the club also received a free full fibre broadband service to its clubhouse.

Gigaclear, Essex Council reach settlement over broadband delivery contracts

Gigaclear, UK rural broadband provider, and Essex County Council have reached a settlement agreement to end legal action over broadband delivery contracts in Essex. Gigaclear has delivered ultrafast broadband to more than 90,000 premises across the county, and is committed to expanding the network roll-out over the coming 18 months. The continued network investment and roll-out by Gigaclear was welcomed by the county council, saying it will benefit residents without broadband in the affected areas.
