Earlier on the same day, the company highlighted its strategy to connect over 600,000 premises across 26 counties, positioning itself as a rural full fibre broadband provider actively addressing the challenge of rapid and reliable installations to bridge the rural digital divide. This followed a modification notice published on September 2, 2026, for the Department for Science Innovation and Technology's Gigabit Infrastructure Subsidy Programme DPS Lot 18 in East Gloucestershire. Previously, on August 7, 2026, Gigaclear had similarly informed the Potton community about its new full fibre network's delivery, also supported by the government's Gigabit Broadband Voucher Programme.
