This sale included a leaseback arrangement, allowing Golden Village to continue operating the cinema. The cinema, located at 51 Yishun Central 1, has a carrying value of approximately $45.1 million and contains 1477 seats. Separately, on August 1, 2024, The Projector announced it would end its collaboration with Golden Village Multiplex at Cineleisure, with final screenings on August 3, 2024. Golden Village will assume full control of Cineleisure operations starting August 4, 2024. Earlier this year, Frasers Property acquired a cinema at Yishun 10 from Golden Village Multiplex.
