On February 20, 2026, the General Services Administration (GSA) awarded its first set of contracts under the Alliant 3 governmentwide acquisition contract (GWAC) to 43 vendors. Earlier the same day, GSA appointed Gregory Barbaccia, who serves as the federal chief information officer at the White House Office of Management and Budget, as acting director of its Technology Transformation Services (TTS) and senior adviser to GSA Administrator Edward Forst.
