On October 1, 2026, Habyt appointed José-Luis Avila as its new Vice President of Revenue and Marketing, tasked with driving the group's growth in flexible hospitality offerings. Previously, on August 28, the company opened its first aparthotel in Vienna, Austria. Located on Bruno-Marek-Allee in the Nordbahnviertel, the property features 319 studios spread across seven floors, with each unit including a kitchen or kitchenette and a work desk. This followed Habyt's announcement on May 21 of the launch of Leaze, a new brand dedicated to co-living and shared living, designed to serve residents, landlords, and local operators through an asset-light, scalable, and localized model.
