On July 17, 2024, the World Teleport Association (WTA) announced that Hellas Sat renewed the Tier 4 certification of its Space Centre in Cyprus. This certification program, introduced at IBC 2015, had certified 56 facilities by this time, with 8 more undergoing evaluation. On July 22, 2024, the WTA announced that Hellas Sat achieved Tier 4 certification for its Athens Teleport. This was the 65th certification issued since the program's launch at IBC 2015, with 7 additional teleports currently under evaluation. The WTA also announced a separate renewal of Hellas Sat's Tier 4 certification for its Cyprus Space Centre. The WTA's Teleport Certification Programme, introduced at IBC 2015, initially certified one facility and has since certified 56, with 8 more currently in the evaluation process.
