The Hungarian Ice Hockey Federation, a non-profit organization headquartered in Hungary, was founded in 1927. Primarily focused on spectator sports, it currently employs approximately 70 individuals and reported $25.8M in revenue as of 2023. Serving as the governing body of ice hockey in Hungary, the federation, known by its Hungarian name Magyar Jégkorong Szövetség (MJSZ), was formally established under the leadership of György Pásztor in 1988 following its separation from the Hungarian Ice Sports Association.
