IAdea collaborated with Blue Touch Paper to improve Microsoft's Device Ecosystem Platform (MDEP), currently in the demo stage, focusing on commercialization and market launch. This collaboration aimed to accelerate MDEP's commercial and go-to-market programs for hardware vendors within the digital signage preview. On June 11, 2025, IAdea, Microsoft, Appspace, and Planon announced a joint preview of MDEP for digital signage, intending to provide a secure and scalable foundation for interactive and non-interactive displays. The collaboration involved using MDEP modules manufactured by IAdea and workplace software from Appspace and Planon. Microsoft sought to expand MDEP into the digital signage market through this collaboration.
