This followed an announcement on February 4 that Secuoya Chile invested in Ikegami UHK-X600 and UHL-X40 broadcast cameras as part of a major upgrade to its headquarters facilities in Santiago. Earlier in the year, on January 15, Sabang Merauke Eye Center (SMEC) in Indonesia selected an Ikegami MKC-X200 Full HD camera for integration with ophthalmic surgical microscopes, primarily for cataract surgery.
