Ikegami Tsushinki Co. Ltd. delivered an Ikegami MKC-X300 3CMOS Full HD camera and MDR-600HD-A video recorder to the Advanced Centre for Eyes, an ophthalmic hospital in Ludhiana, Punjab, India, on July 3, 2026. Earlier, on June 11, Vietnam National Television channel VTV5, which specializes in programs for linguistic minority groups, invested in eight Ikegami camera systems for integration with two newly completed 4K-UHD outside broadcast production vehicles. This followed the May 25 announcement that Two Wheels Motor Racing Sdn Bhd (TWMR), a motorsports event production specialist, invested in Ikegami broadcast camera systems to strengthen its ability to deliver live race production across the Asia Pacific region. Ikegami also expanded its product lineup on April 19 by adding the VFE-P07D portable viewfinder, which enhances the operability of UNICAM XE series cameras, with orders accepted starting April 2026. Previously, Ikegami USA demonstrated its latest additions to broadcast-quality cameras, controllers, and monitors at the NAB Show in Las Vegas from April 19-22, 2026.
