The Israeli Basketball Association (IBA), a privately owned organization founded in 1966 and headquartered in Israel, is the governing body for basketball in the country. By law, the IBA oversees all aspects of Israeli basketball, including the operation of national leagues (specifically the men's and women's super leagues, which operate independently under the IBA's authority), team registration, and the registration of players and coaches.
