Kauffman Stadium, also known as "The K", is a baseball stadium located in Kansas City, Missouri, United States. It serves as the home ballpark for the Kansas City Royals of Major League Baseball. The stadium is part of the Truman Sports Complex, which also includes Arrowhead Stadium, the home of the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League. Kauffman Stadium opened in 1973 and has a seating capacity of over 37,000 spectators. It is known for its distinctive architecture, including a large, arched roof and a natural grass playing field. The stadium has undergone several renovations and upgrades over the years, including the addition of luxury suites and other amenities.
