Founded in 1992, it operates as a tier 1 media tech buyer, specializing in broadcast television and radio services. The company was one of Cambodia's private television networks and a pioneer of the country’s modern media landscape, notably being the first private broadcaster to launch after the 1991 Paris Peace Accords, which ended the state’s monopoly on television. Operated by Khmer Television 9 Co., Ltd., the station broadcasts on VHF Channel 9, focusing on a mix of entertainment, traditional culture, and community news designed to appeal to both urban and rural Cambodian households.
