Kinepolis Group, founded in 1997 and headquartered in Belgium, is an entertainment company operating a network of cinemas internationally. As of the current data, the company employs approximately 980 people and manages 110 cinemas globally, encompassing 1,074 screens and nearly 200,000 seats.
Kinepolis Group NV reported an 11.6% decrease in visitor numbers during the first quarter, compared to the same period in the previous year. However, a rise in sales per visitor resulted in a smaller decrease in total revenue for the quarter. On April 11, 2025, Kinepolis presented its 2024 integrated annual report, covering strategic, financial, operational, and ESG performance. The report also included a convening notice for the General Meeting and a proposal for new directors. Additionally, Kinepolis announced a partnership with IMAX Corporation to add nine new IMAX locations across Europe, the United States, and Canada.
