Kinepolis Group, a publicly owned entertainment company founded in 1997 and headquartered in Belgium, operates a network of 110 cinemas internationally. These cinemas comprise 1,074 screens and approximately 200,000 seats, employing a workforce of 980 people.
On August 7, 2025, Kinepolis Group NV received a transparency notification from BNP Paribas Asset Management Holding, indicating that entities it controls now hold 3.06% of Kinepolis Group NV's voting rights, exceeding the 3% threshold. In the first half of 2025, Kinepolis Group NV reported a 6.2% revenue increase, reaching €257.9 million. Adjusted EBITDA for the same period increased by 22.6% to €46.4 million, while the adjusted result reached €7.5 million. Kinepolis welcomed 14.3 million visitors during this period. Separately, Kinepolis Group signed an agreement with Vista Group to implement Vista Cloud across its 109 sites and over 1100 screens. Additionally, Kinepolis deployed ADVANTECH-AURES KRYSTAL ordering and ticketing kiosks in over 45 of its cinema centers across Europe in August 2025.
