L1, a state-owned public broadcaster headquartered in the Netherlands, produces and distributes broadcast media. Originally established in 1988 as Omroep Limburg, replacing Regionale Omroep Zuid (ROZ), it rebranded as L1 in 1999 after merging with the commercial broadcaster TV8 Limburg. The broadcaster serves the province of Limburg and employs approximately 400 people.
