Earlier that same day, Portland State University’s College of the Arts announced its 2026-27 cohort of LAIKA Student Scholars and Faculty Fellows, the second group selected for a three-year pilot program designed to create pathways to careers in the stop-motion animation industry and diversify the creative workforce.
