Xilam Animation is a privately owned company headquartered in France. Founded in 1999, it employs approximately 340 individuals. The company functions as an integrated studio that specializes in the creation, production, and distribution of original animation programmes. These programmes cater to both children and adult audiences and are distributed in more than 190 countries.
French animation studio Xilam appointed Caterina Gonnelli-Linden as co-chief executive officer, effective immediately, sharing executive leadership with CEO Marc du Pontavice. Gonnelli-Linden, previously the chief content officer, will now lead alongside Pontavice, who will focus on group strategy, shareholder relations, and diversification, including the development of feature film production. The studio also promoted Camille Wiplier and Safaa Benazzouz to deputy chief executive officers. This follows earlier announcements, with Xilam CEO Marc du Pontavice commenting on October 6 that he was confident in the new governance, acknowledging Gonnelli-Linden, Wiplier, and Benazzouz's contributions to the company's successes.
