Longines Global Champions Tour (LGCT), a privately owned spectator sports company headquartered in the Netherlands, was founded in 2006 by Olympic gold medalist Jan Tops. The LGCT is an annual show jumping series featuring approximately 15 international competitions. The series attracts the top 30 ranked riders in the FEI Jumping World Rankings. As of 2023, the company employs approximately 40 people.
The Longines Global Champions Tour returned to New York City from September 19-21, 2024, at Liberty State Park, a new venue. Gregory Wathelet and Argentina de la Marchette won the Champagne Piaff Trophy CSI5* 1.50m Jump-Off class on day two of the competition. The tour also featured stops in Vienna (September 26-28) and Rome (October 10-12). Earlier, Gerit Nieberg and Ping Pong van de Lentamel achieved a victory in the Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Riesenbeck in Germany. All events are available to watch live and on demand on GCTV.
