Loyola University New Orleans is a private university in New Orleans, Louisiana, United States. It was founded in 1912 by the Society of Jesus and is the oldest Catholic university in the South. The university offers undergraduate and graduate programs in a variety of fields, including business, education, law, nursing, and theology. Loyola has a total enrollment of over 4,500 students and a faculty and staff of over 1,460. The university is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
