Lufthansa Systems announced a partnership with Philippine Airlines (PAL) for a digital transformation. The agreement, signed in Manila, will provide PAL with advanced flight planning and crew management solutions to improve flight safety, operational reliability, and on-time performance. Separately, Lufthansa Systems partnered with Indian start-up airline Alhindair, based in Kochi. Alhindair will be the first airline in India to use Lufthansa Systems' Lido Route Manual for flight operations support. Alhindair, planning to begin operations in October 2025, will initially use the paper-based Lido Route Manual before transitioning to the digital Lido mPilot EFB solution.
