Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation, also known as MDEC, is a State Owned entity headquartered in Malaysia. Founded in 1996, it employs approximately 940 individuals. Its main product is Government Relations Services. Operating as a government agency under the Ministry of Communications and Digital, MDEC was established to lead Malaysia’s digital economy, initiating the MSC Malaysia program. The organization focuses on catalyzing digital transformation and growth nationwide by providing incentives and governance for expansion and re-investment, aiming to enhance Malaysia's position as a digital hub within ASEAN.
