Earlier, on February 1, 2026, Media Broadcast renewed its multi-year partnership with French service provider Dotscreen, retaining Dotscreen for the evolution, support, and maintenance of the Freenet TV HbbTV portal. Dotscreen has managed the HbbTV front end and its associated backend for Freenet TV since the service launched in 2016.
