Mei Ah Entertainment Group is a publicly owned media entertainment conglomerate and film studio headquartered in Hong Kong. Founded in 1984, the company employs approximately 100 individuals and reported $14.2M in revenue as of 2025. Specializing in content rights, the company originally focused on the distribution of videocassette tapes and laserdiscs, growing into a home video syndicator. After launching an initial public offering on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 1993, Mei Ah Entertainment Group expanded its operations in 1997 to include film investment and theatrical production. The company has since diversified into TV program packaging, multimedia streaming, and satellite network operations. Operating through a regional network with subsidiaries in Beijing and Taipei, Mei Ah Entertainment Group owns an extensive intellectual property library comprising hundreds of Cantonese and Mandarin-language feature films and television dramas.
