Asterion Industrial Partners informed Portugal’s Competition Authority on January 2, 2026, of its plans to acquire the PT Data Centre in Covilhã from Altice Portugal, MEO's parent company, for an expected €120 million. This follows MEO's recent expansion of its retail presence in Portugal.
