MeTV offered San Diego Comic-Con attendees an early look at its fall programming events on July 28, 2026, which included the fifth annual BOO-nanza event and special premieres marking the broadcast television return of *The Wizard of Oz*. Earlier, on February 18, 2026, the network announced the addition of the sitcom *The Golden Girls* to its lineup, with the show slated to return to broadcast television on March 16, 2026. Previously, on September 19, 2025, MeTV's parent company, Chicago-based Weigel Broadcasting Co., acquired local television station WSKC-CD, a Class A low-power station broadcasting on channel 22, in the Atlanta market from KM LPTV of Atlanta LLC, as reported by Radio+Television Business Report.
