This follows an earlier strategic move on September 19, 2025, when MeTV’s parent company, Chicago-based Weigel Broadcasting Co., acquired WSKC-CD, a Class A low-power station broadcasting on channel 22, from KM LPTV of Atlanta LLC. The purchase, as reported by Radio+Television Business Report, represents a push into the Atlanta market for Weigel Broadcasting.
