Separately, NEC XON was named Palo Alto Networks Sub-Saharan Africa Partner of the Year for 2025. Furthermore, a strategic partnership with Smartoptics resulted in the launch of a new pluggable optical solution for Africa, offering businesses faster and more affordable locally supported optical networking technology, including the continent's first locally backed Small Form-factor Pluggable (SFP) solution.
