New World TV secured broadcast rights for the 2026 Men's and 2027 Women's FIFA World Cups on June 22, 2025. This follows a previous agreement between FIFA and New World TV. The broadcaster also resumed its contract to broadcast Confederation of African Football tournaments after resolving a dispute with the governing body. On an unrelated note, New World TV broadcast the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations quarterfinals match between South Africa and Senegal on June 21, 2025.
