Earlier on September 22, the SCRT Team Blog provided a technical breakdown, explaining that a vulnerable chat overlay rendering viewer messages as raw HTML within an OBS Browser Source, combined with an unsandboxed Chromium renderer and an exploited V8 bug, allowed viewer-controlled text to achieve native code execution even with OBS at default settings.
