News Summary:

Evertz, a leader in broadcast technology, showcased Fiber X-LINK, an addition to the NEXX processing and routing solution, at IBC 2024. Fiber X-LINK enables users to connect multiple routers and external devices without affecting IO. The NEXX router supports UHD (4K) and HDR technology, allowing a smooth transition to SMPTE ST 2110 and cloud services. Evertz also created a 704 x 704 12G-SDI UHD routing platform for TVN's new OB truck, which debuted at the UEFA EURO 2024 championships. Despite the tight deadline, Evertz successfully delivered the large-format router on time. The NEXX processing and routing platform offered a compelling option with its distributed floating backplane technology. Additionally, Evertz highlighted new additions to its DreamCatcher™ BRAVO Studio platform and media processing platform at IBC 2024.
