OL Reign, a privately owned entity headquartered in the US, was founded in 2020. The organization, originally established as Seattle Reign FC in 2012, operates with approximately 60 employees and reported $16.3M in revenue as of 2023. Specializing in spectator sports, it was a founding member of the National Women’s Soccer League.
On March 14, 2026, OL Reign prepared to begin their trophy chase with coach Laura Harvey and original player Jess Fishlock, powered by a young core developed through a two-season roster reboot that sought major talents at forward while strengthening the backline and midfield. Previously, on March 13, the Reign acquired Canadian international forward Holly Ward from Vancouver Rise FC of the Northern Super League, signing her to a two-year contract for an undisclosed fee. The 22-year-old forward scored the winning goal in the inaugural Northern Super League championship game, made her senior debut for Canada last April, and has nine caps. Earlier, on February 16, Bay FC announced a schedule change for its road trip to Seattle, rescheduling the match against the Reign for Saturday, September 12, at 5 p.m. PT at Lumen Field, moving it from its original Friday September date.
