Oppo, founded in 2004 and headquartered in China, is a consumer electronics manufacturer. Employing approximately 47,050 people, the company produces smart devices and integrates hardware, software, and services. These services include the ColorOS operating system, an app market, and cloud storage.
Canalys research indicates 70.9 million smartphone units shipped in Mainland China during Q1 2025, a 5% year-on-year increase. This growth resulted from government subsidies and improved consumer confidence, continuing a trend from early 2024. Lianchuang Electronics, a supplier to Oppo, is negotiating with Amber Electronics and Optiemus Electronics to enter India's electronics components market. On April 20, 2025, OPPO Philippines hinted at the upcoming release of the OPPO Find N5 foldable phone. The Find X8 Ultra phone features a high-quality camera system, including a 1-inch main sensor. A list of Oppo phones priced under ₹15000 in 2025 was also published.
