This follows Cinema United's Friday request to state attorneys general William Tong and Marty Jackley to scrutinize and potentially block the proposed $110 billion merger between Paramount and Warner Bros. Discovery. Earlier on April 3, Paramount canceled "Star Trek: Starfleet Academy," the final Star Trek series in production, after a recent revelation indicated fewer than 40,000 people watched the show, pointing to low ratings.
