In 2023, the PBA consisted of 12 company-branded franchised teams and employed approximately 50 people. Its primary offering is spectator sports.

On Saturday, June Mar Fajardo set a new PBA record for most offensive rebounds during San Miguel's 120-111 win against Rain or Shine in Cagayan de Oro City. NLEX defeated Phoenix 105-95 on Sunday, ending Phoenix's participation in the Philippine Cup quarterfinals. The PBA will hold its first double-header at the Ynares Center in Montalban on Friday, featuring NLEX versus Blackwater and TNT versus Phoenix. The Zamboanga Valientes are in advanced talks to purchase Terrafirma's PBA franchise, pending league approval.
