It functions as the official governing body of the sport of cricket in the Philippines and is responsible for its national team. The organization represents the Philippines at the International Cricket Council, holding associate member status since 2003, and is also a member of the East Asia-Pacific Cricket Council. Since June 2018, it has been a member of the Philippine Olympic Committee.
