Pirelli, a privately owned Italian company founded in 1872, employs approximately 11,640 people. Its primary business is the development, manufacture, and marketing of tires for automobiles, industrial vehicles, and motorcycles.
Pirelli announced the three hardest tire compounds—C1, C2, and C3—would be available for the Suzuka circuit. The C1 compound most closely resembles its 2024 version, while the C2 and C3 compounds are softer than last year's versions. In other news, Pirelli's tires achieved a final win in Canada in 1993 with Nelson Piquet driving a Benetton. The company also highlighted the fifth generation of its iconic tire, featuring improved handling and shorter braking distances, thanks to virtual development and artificial intelligence. These tires are a preferred choice for premium car manufacturers.
