Specializing in media managed services, it functions as a vertically integrated mass media film studio and television production conglomerate, operating as the commercial content creation, distribution, and licensing subsidiary of Media Prima Berhad, a Malaysian fully integrated media conglomerate. Primeworks Studios generates over 3,000 hours of audio-visual media annually to serve domestic terrestrial channels, including TV3, 8TV, TV9, and ntv7, alongside regional broadcasting grids. The studio maintains a multi-genre intellectual property repository for the Southeast Asian Malay-language entertainment market, encompassing serialized dramas, cinematic blockbusters, unscripted reality formats, and international animation. Its entertainment catalog includes Malaysian film and television assets, such as Ejen Ali: The Movie, the preschool animated series Alif & Sofia, the cinematic drama Sangkar, the blockbuster Pulang, and public broadcast properties like Wanita Hari Ini and Majalah 3.
