Principality Stadium, formerly known as the Millennium Stadium, is a multi-purpose event venue located in Cardiff, Wales. It is the home of the Welsh Rugby Union and hosts international rugby union matches, as well as other sporting events, concerts, and exhibitions. The stadium was completed in 1999 and has a seating capacity of 74,500, making it the largest stadium in Wales. It is also the second-largest stadium in the United Kingdom, after Wembley Stadium. The stadium is owned by the Welsh Rugby Union and is operated by the Principality Stadium Group, a subsidiary of the WRU. The stadium has hosted a number of major events, including the 1999 Rugby World Cup, the 2017 UEFA Champions League Final, and the 2023 Rugby World Cup.
