Provys, a privately owned Czech Republic-based company founded in 1993, is a division of DCIT Corporation. Employing approximately 40 people, Provys develops and provides video business system software for broadcasters and media companies. Their products encompass various aspects of media management, including transmission planning, playout integration, rights management (linear and non-linear), ad sales management, production and resource planning, digital archiving, and media asset management. In 2020, the company's revenue was less than $10 million.
Provys Technologies reported a successful 2024, with cloud-based solutions playing a significant role, as highlighted in a January 8th, 2025 announcement from Prague. A development roadmap emphasizing research and development was presented at a client event in Prague in June 2024. On October 16th, 2024, Provys Technologies announced the launch of Sphere, a secure television channel management system designed for broadcasters. Sphere, also debuted at IBC 2024 in Amsterdam, offers a comprehensive platform managing content acquisition, licensing, scheduling, and transmission. The system is available in Lite and Pro versions.
Provys's customers primarily consist of pay TV services and broadcast television and radio companies. Examples of Provys's customers include Digiturk, Media Support and Asset Management Fund (MTVA) and Nova.
