On June 26, 2026, the Central Bureau of Communication (CBC) extended the validity of its existing panel of five digital cinema agencies, including Qube Cinema, until December 31, 2026, ensuring continuity in government cinema-based public communication campaigns. Earlier, on June 16, Qube Cinema appointed Mariam El Bacha as Vice President of Business Development for Central and South America, tasking her with leading the company's growth strategy, strengthening industry partnerships, and expanding technology adoption in the region. This followed Qube Cinema's strategic acquisition of Arts Alliance Media (AAM) on March 26, a move aimed at gaining momentum for the global adoption of LEONIS Cinema LLAS. Previously, on March 20, Qube Cinema launched its premium large-format cinema EPIQ at E-Square Cinemas in Hinjawadi Phase 2, Pune. This launch represented a significant step in expanding EPIQ's reach beyond South India, where it has operated since 2019, as the company plans to expand its EPIQ chain to 20 locations to build a national footprint for its immersive cinema experience.
