RallyX welcomed MoTeC as a Technical Partner for the inaugural 2026 RallyX Americas campaign on June 18, with MoTeC supplying electronics for the First Corner FC1 and FC2 cars used in the Hypercar and Supercar classes. Previously, on May 26, Joni-Pekka Rajala secured two victories in the Open 2WD category at the Honkajoki weekend, where Lucas Gabrielsson also emerged as a strong performer. This followed the opening race weekend on May 24, where Rajala had dominated the Open 2WD category by posting two fastest qualifying times, and Simon Tiger achieved a second-place finish, keeping Gabrielsson behind him. Viktor Johansson finished fifth behind Tuomas Venalainen during the same event. Earlier, on May 20, Iivari Mannisto demonstrated a rapid rise in the opening round of the RallyX North championship at Tierp, with five drivers separated by ten points in the fight for second place in the overall standings ahead of the upcoming Finnish round at Honkajoki. On May 18, Roberts Vitols’ winning streak concluded when he experienced a left rear suspension failure in the Race 2 final, despite dominating qualifying heats with three consecutive fastest times, allowing Daarbak to claim a maiden career victory.
