Federation of International Bandy, also known as FIB, is a privately owned organization headquartered in Sweden. Founded in 1955, the organization functions as a tier 1 media tech buyer, serving as the international governing body for the sport of bandy.
On April 19, 2026, Federation of International Bandy (FIB) General Secretary Attila Adamfi held a first official meeting with Evgeniy Ivanushkin, First Vice President of the Russian Bandy Federation (RBF), in Batumi, Georgia, marking an important step toward renewed dialogue and cooperation between the organizations. Earlier in March, the three Youth World Championships in Uppsala, Sweden, concluded on March 27, which organizers described as a success with competitive teams, significant spectator attendance, and global distribution via two webcast platforms. This followed the FIB World Championships Group B, held the previous weekend in Uppsala, where on March 20, the Netherlands won the Women’s World Championship Group B by defeating Great Britain 5-3 in the final, and Great Britain claimed the Men’s tournament.
