Aaj News reported that on an unspecified date, the Chief Minister of Balochistan, Sarfraz Bugti, approved the creation of the Bank of Balochistan following a meeting in Quetta where a feasibility report supported the project. The agreement was signed in Islamabad by Afghan Deputy Minister for Commerce and Industry Ahmadullah Zahid and Pakistan’s Commerce Secretary Jawad Paul.
