Rei Pictures, also known as Rei Cine, is a privately owned company headquartered in Argentina. Founded in 2010, the company employs approximately 20 individuals and specializes in entertainment content rights. Functioning as an independent film studio and television production corporation, the company was historically based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and maintains international hubs in Madrid, Spain, and Mexico City, Mexico. Founded by Latin American film producers Benjamin Domenech, Santiago Gallelli, and Matías Roveda, the studio, which operated as Rei Cine until a 2023 corporate restructuring and rebranding, focuses on developing, financing, and producing high-concept feature films and original episodic series that achieve international festival acclaim. Its founders are active members of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) and the European Film Academy. The company manages an intellectual property portfolio featured through cinematic circuits such as Cannes, Venice, and Sundance, including titles such as Lucrecia Martel’s Zama, Luis Ortega’s Venice competition entry Kill the Jockey, Felipe Gálvez’s Cannes FIPRESCI Prize-winner The Settlers, Daniela Goggi's The Rescue, Natalia López Gallardo's Robe of Gems, and Lucrecia Martel's historical documentary Nuestra Tierra.
