Rocketsheep Studio

Rocketsheep Studio, a privately owned company headquartered in the Philippines, specializes in animation and post-production. Founded by Filipino animator, illustrator, and director Avid Liongoren, the studio operates with approximately 50 employees. It functions as an independent boutique animation studio and intellectual property incubator, established to push the stylistic boundaries of Southeast Asian animation by championing alternative, genre-bending, and adult-oriented storytelling that challenges traditional children's content conventions. The studio works with a collective of local visual artists, blending Filipino wit with global pop-culture sensibilities. Rocketsheep developed and produced Hayop Ka! (You Animal! The Nimfa Dimaano Story), which marked the first-ever Filipino animated feature film to be acquired and globally distributed as a Netflix Original. The studio maintains an intellectual property portfolio that bridges hand-drawn aesthetics with commercial mainstream exposure, spearheaded by the live-action/animated hybrid Saving Sally, Hayop Ka!, the animated feature ZsaZsa Zaturnnah vs. The Amazonistas of Planet X, and a slate of independent animated shorts including Muning, Robuboy, Josephine, Momo, and Jepoy.
