Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU), also known as Toronto Met, is a public, non-profit research university located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Formerly named Ryerson University, it has a main campus in the city's Garden District and additional facilities elsewhere in Toronto. The university comprises seven academic divisions: Arts, Community Services, Engineering and Architectural Science, Science, The Creative School, the Lincoln Alexander School of Law, and the Ted Rogers School of Management. These divisions are further subdivided into various departments and schools. TMU employs approximately 3,960 people and also offers continuing education programs through the G. Raymond Chang School of Continuing Education.
